Ciarán Walsh (b. Ireland, 1980) is an artist and filmmaker based in Berlin, Germany.
His work explores place, memory, and transformation, and in his creative practice he commonly investigates the use of the spectral as a metaphoric mode of representation.
Walsh highlights the mediation both of individual and collective histories, foregrounding these acts of mediation against backgrounds of place, landscape, and cultural and societal history.
