Work arising out of artistic exploration of historical and ethnograpic museum collections. Sculptural pieces such as A Time for Superlatives (2013) replicatedvfragments of figurartive sculptures originally documented in such museums, replacing the scupltures’ original materials with far less robust varients such as card and foamcard, and framing the pieces on plinths that were themselves primarily fabricated as loose, unfixed assemblages.
