This two-fold work was produced in the context of a residency at ︎︎︎The Watch in Berlin. THe inital compent was was installed as a poster on the outside of the residency location, a former East Berlin border tower now situated in a municipal park, with the duration of the artwork determined by weathering and vandalism. The second compoment was a photograph installed in the artspace Studio Beta in Berlin. Cuttings I & II presented gestures and traces of landscaping, examininf in parallel the composition and presentation of artworks, refecting on notions of the picturesque, and concerns around what may be omited, extracted and cast aside.
