Using footage shot on a smartphone over the course of one evening in a house in Carlow (Ireland), Vibrations proposes an uncanny reading of the home that explores place, mourning, connection, the supernatural and the body. Just as the house is presented visually as if dissolving within a mist of colourful, low-grade camera noise, the narration in Vibrations works to generate clouds of doubt and slippage between the actual and the spectral within a family history.
